First, Tiger came on the PGA TOUR in 1996-97. The experience he related happened long before he became “Tiger Woods Superstar.” He was a child and this discrimination was, and unfortunately, in some instances, remains normal. There would be no protests or news articles — even in the 1980s. Given all that, I still found it interesting to hear Tiger say this because he’s never publicly opened up about it. Thanks for reading and commenting.

For Tiger to claim he had to change clothes in the parking lot because of the color of his skin is bullshit. There would have been thousands protesting along with numerous news articles. No doubt there may have been clubs restricting membership. But, No club would allow Tiger to be in the tournament then refuse him to step foot in the clubhouse. You would know more than me. Am I wrong?
