Cecilia ‘Cissy’ Marshall, Widow of Thurgood Marshall, Dies at 94

Cecilia “Cissy” Marshall, a former NAACP legal secretary and widow of Thurgood Marshall, the first Black justice to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court, died Tuesday Nov. 22.
