Bowie’s Food Waste Diversion Program Wins Local Climate Award

Bowie’s Food Waste Diversion Program was awarded by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and advancing equity in environmentalism by diverting food waste from landfills and creating a product that is healthy and replenishing to soils.
